Clairvoyant Evening in Horwich

By popular request, Horwich Town Mayor Councillor Stephen Rock has organised a Clairvoyance Evening at Brazley Community Centre at 19:30 on Friday March 17th.

The event was a sell out when it was held last year, so early booking is advised.

Food is included in the price of your tickets, which can be purchased by telephoning (Bolton) 437820.

Tickets cost £8 each and places are limited. Money from your ticket purchases will benefit the Mayors Charity Fund for Macmillan Nurses and other local charities.

Blackrod Train Station Littered

Several large pieces of litter, including broken computer parts, remain at Blackrod train station despite requests from Horwich residents to have them removed.

Many locals of Horwich and Blackrod use the small train station to begin their work day during the week and have expressed their desire to see the station maintained on a more regular basis.

Horwich Cold Spell

A cold spell has hit Horwich over the last couple of days, producing light snow in the mornings and bitter cold winds. Horwich was hit by heavy snow for a short period this afternoon.

The temperature has dropped considerably since last week and has left residents wrapping up warm and looking forward to Summer.
